Attached below in PDF format is the Council Regulation on compensation and assistance to passengers in the event of denied boarding and of cancellation or long delays of flights, EC 261/2004 which came into force on 17 February 2005.  The html attachment contains the repealed Council Regulation on the denied-boarding compensation system in scheduled air transport, Council Regulation (EEC) 295/91 which was repealed on 17 February 2005.
